Interesting, It seems there are many similar concerns today. Where can I find what you would present as viable alternatives to the current US system of corporate management structures?

Hi Casey! I'm not a policy guy, so my plan isn't to present alternatives myself. But the historical story is that there are three basic approaches to corporate governance. One is the Wall Street approach, which tries to tie governance to securities markets more closely. Another is the business statesmanship approach, which casts business leaders as the trustees of social responsibility. And the third is a system of distributed governance that would include labor unions and social movements in a system of corporate decision-making, as it's been tried in Germany and Japan, among other places, for the last 50 years or so.
